Letsema Farms is a 35 hectare country estate close to Lanseria International Airport, near the Cradle of Humankind. The farm was originally used for vegetable farming, with the produce being sold to food retail companies. It has now been transformed to a country estate for accommodation, conferencing, weddings, corporate events, as well as leadership development. On occasion, especially in summer, a hot air balloon can be spotted as it lands on the property. There are four accommodation properties scattered around the property. Letsema farms offers farm-life experience including, walks, fishing, and picnicking. Thrice a year the grass on the property is cut and bailed for distribution to other farms for farm feed. The Crocodile river is a beautiful feature of the farm, and there are walk paths as well as places for resting and reading the book one has been planning to read!!!
